Swap2.me - a one-button solution to receive payments in crypto

For personal and enterprise use.

While building The Price is Alright, we created a little tool for our product that we believe has great potential as a stand-alone product.

We wanted to provide our players with the possibility to pay for our tickets with tokens from whatever major chain that was more convenient. As a business, we also want to be notified of purchases and have some form of accounting automatically generated. We found that, although there are plenty of bridges and aggregators, there was no simple solution to add a button to our website, where we could simply receive payments and some simple metadata about the transactions.

We started to delve into this topic and have discovered that this process is implemented in some projects, but it is a proprietary and custom built module, not scalable and pretty complex to build. We find the absence of such functionality to be a significant roadblock in the way of mass facilitation of crypto.

Almost all existing solutions for sending someone crypto require you to centralise your funds in a single token, convert that to the required chain of the receiver and send the tokens to the proper address in the proper chain (USDT BEP20 for example).

This can be complicated, as human error, liquidity issues, and a segmentation of funds scattered across various chains is commonplace. Not to mention a higher risk of getting scammed, as it is no easy task to remember all the DEXs, aggregators and other DeFi tools out there that you might need to aggregate your funds.

So we have built Swap2.me - a fully non-custodial solution for receiving crypto payments in a set chain and token via a link, where all one needs is a wallet. After connecting a wallet to Swap2.me, one can select a token (and chain) and generate a link that provides a simple experience to send crypto to the wallet address associated with the link in a set token. If the sender doesn't have the set token in the set chain, Swap2.me allows one to simply swap 1000+ tokens in 6 major chains to the set chain and token and send them to the users wallet.

We believe that now is the perfect time for something like this to emerge, as a lot of great projects have laid the infrastructure to make this possible and secure, and that this is something that can help accelerate the mainstream adoption of crypto as a means to exchange funds, as well as help people exchange funds with one another with greater ease and a lower error-rate.
