Using our tools and community to build a learn-to-earn ecosystem - Deducation

This was the genesis point of The Price is Alright.

The Price is Alright started out as an idea for creative marketing for our learn-to-earn ecosystem Deducation.

We are passionate about building the ultimate database of human knowledge, mapping various skills and the knowledge necessary to acquire them, capturing the intricacies and differences of comprehension, forming critical paths to learning a topic and challenging the current state of online education.

Instead of having hundreds of courses on a singular subject, with hundreds of course creators fighting for exposure and focusing a lot of their energy and resources on marketing stunts to promote their personal brands and attract students, we want to create Ultimate courses on various subjects with a multitude of creators, fighting to provide the best material to cover various topics of the course. Shifting the focus from personal branding and expensive marketing towards the creation of maximum value in terms of spreading knowledge, all the while opening the possibility for singular individuals with strong knowledge to share it freely with minimal hassle and no team.

We want to create a space where the subject is at the center of attention, not the author. Courses being built by multiple creators, allowing creators to put their time and energy into improving and expanding the course, thus building an ultimate database of knowledge around the subject. Competitiveness shifts not towards the commercialisation of the authors persona, but towards cooperation in pursuit of providing a higher quality of content for the communities approval.

A contribution can be the expansion of a topic, the creation of new material, infographics, videos or interactive elements, the translation of a subject and more. Every little bit matters in creating an ultimate tool to spread knowledge.

We will be starting with subjects that have relatively low controversy, such as STEM, programming, web 3.0, cooking, etc.

No political, healthcare, social or other controversial topics. The world has enough strife going on already, we want to focus on helping our users learn concrete skills.

We believe that we can use degen trends emergent in crypto to advance the state of online education and shift towards decentralised education (Deducation).

Creators create, oracles verify, and learner learn and everyone earns. To participate in the learn-to-earn ecosystem as a learner, one must mint a soulbound BRAIN that serves as an interactive diploma recording the progress one makes and fuel it with LEARN - the base currency of the system.

We plan for the BRAIN to be a huge deal, as this could allow one to check ones skill tree and evaluate progress, to come back to a subject a few years down the line and see what is new in this area of knowledge. It also opens the possibility of creating a community based certification standard that one could demonstrate in ones resume, with pride.
